My Story

Back in 1995, I was searching for a job when a friend asked me to help with gardening on a stunning ranch in Colorado. Despite the challenges of unpredictable weather and ravenous deer, I quickly fell in love with the work. By 1997, I had become the head gardener, even with a growing belly as I was pregnant then!

Nowadays, I get to work with my amazing team of 4-6 people, creating beautiful outdoor spaces for the most fantastic homes and neighborhoods in the Vail Valley. We’re all about flowers and plants, so we stick to what we love and let others take care of the boring irrigation and grass.

What’s even more exciting is our commitment to the environment. Since I was pregnant when I started my business, I have been terrified of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. That’s why we never use any nasty chemicals, only organic fertilizers, and compost. And when it comes to waste, we’re all about sustainability: we use tarps to collect debris, recycle and reuse plastic pots, and are incredibly conscious of water usage.

For me, gardening is more than just a job; it’s a lifelong passion. I’m constantly learning new things, experimenting with new techniques, and exploring the latest practices. The joy of finding the right plants for the right place and creating stunning outdoor spaces never gets old!

Hi there! I wear many hats in life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m a mom, a wife, a gardener, a floral designer, a dog owner, and even a ski instructor. But above all, I’m someone who loves getting my hands dirty in the garden and helping others bring their outdoor spaces to life.
